I borrowed Heather’s dad’s Canon Rebel to take some pics this past week and have had a blast. I need to give it back to him, but I’m now convinced; I want to invest in one. I do have to say, I have also come to the conclusion that post-processing is where it counts. You get a bit of a sharper image with a native raw file like the Canon delivered..but I can also take incredible pics with my iPhone if I take the time to sharpen/highlight/Vignette/White Balance/etc.. There are a myriad of tools available from Photoshop to GIMP that can get the job done..just do your best to get good photo composition/content..try to keep shadows off the faces unnecessarily and get it done!
I won’t be posting as many hi-res pics in the near future as I have to get back into the work groove..but man…this has made a stressful week have some unexpected highlights! Been taking pics of my family..the most important people on the planet to me. I would be a mess without them.
