Encouragement…

I got this email today. I was really blessed by it. Years later, God still using the gifts He gave me. Humbling and at the same time, makes me smile inside.

Hey Jamie, I don’t know exactly how to say this without sounding like a goofy kid, but dude, you have got one of the most distinctive, fantastic sounding voices I’ve heard in over 30 years of being a die hard dedicated melodic rock fan and musician, your vocals ALWAYS inspire me to work harder at my own, and as far as you feeling the burn to write and record, I get it, been there, am there, it’s just something you need to do, being a family man I know it can be so hard to make that a priority, and when real inspiration hits, at least for me, it’s at unoportune moments, not impossible moments, but you start hearing those naggng voices like’ I should get out the stuff and record, BUT, whats the rush, or, nobody will ever hear it , or, ahhh might as well watch tv, or whatever, I also believe that those are the times the Holy Spirit may be trying to work with or nudge us to rise above our current moment or situation, and give a gift that will last and touch people’s lives or effect their moments when they have doubts or aren’t sure if anyone hears or understands, When you guys did “Save our Love” did you know that it would hit a married couple in Michigan like a ton of bricks? simple, beautiful, but every bit as stong as something weightier like Sweet Mystery, I guess what I’m saying is, when you feel the need to record or write, you are one of those guys that should do it no matter what else is going on, your golden brother, you can’t record enough, there are a few people that should keep or have kept the recorder running ALL the time, DIO(God forgive me) Steve Perry, Lou Gramm, John Cooper, Eric Martin, Jamie Rowe…..Ya get it? Keep singing bro, whatever it is however it comes out, it works.

Rock and Roll.

“Save Our Love” was an Adriangale track and not Guardian. A/G wasn’t an evangelistic project so it’s even cooler to me that God used the message of that song to rock someone.

Never think your words go un-noticed. Y’all have rocked me through the years.
Thank you…for real.
