Fire & Love, my first recording with the band and the beginning of the bands most successful season, was released 20 years ago. Hard to believe, but it’s true. I’ll get to the point: If you saw my blog over the weekend, you know I’m on a vinyl kick. I’m jonesin’ to have some Guardian vinyl for both the fans and myself.
I’ve been thinking of a release plan all day and figured I’d best ask the folks who can make it happen. YOU.
If you would, fill this little form out and give me some feedback. If all goes well, I’d love to have vinyl pressed before the holidays. I’d love to have the whole Guardian catalog released on wax. Big covers with cool art and liner notes. Just like the golden days of the record industry.
It’s possible. I feel it.

PS- I casually mentioned this to both David and Karl over the weekend. But this is something I’m pushing through on my own to get some steam. This is on top of our planned new recordings later this month.

The response was overwhelmingly in favor of issuing the album on vinyl. I was inspired to try to make this happen before years end, but realistically and to do it right, I’ll need more time. There’s no need to rush this. I want it to be a premium quality item that will delight any fan of the band. But It’s on!
Thanks-
