Promises, Promises…

Normally, I would NEVER buy a book or anything called “The 4 Hour Body”. I’d be thinking it’s just another scam to sell paper…. Much the same way checkout tabloids all run Diet oriented covers after New Years, someone is trying to cash in on all the new “resolutions”.

But this is Tim Ferris‘ book. For me, that changes the rules.

Last night, David Bach sent me a text that said I should check out this book. A review is one thing..but Bach is in the best shape of his life at almost 50 and is easily in the best shape of anyone I know of any age. Fact. I’ll trust his word. But I also had bought Tim’s book “The 4 Hour Work Week” and actually used some of those principles taught in that..and guess what? They worked! I trust him.

I’m obviously overweight and have been for the past 10 years. I always have “get fit” on my to-do list..but it never seems to get done. Maybe this is the year that changes. I bought the Kindle version of the book last night and stayed up reading the intro. Ever read something that makes no sense and goes against conventional wisdom..but is then proven right before your eyes? This book seems to be filled with those type of thingys.

I’ll let ya know how it goes..I haven’t started anything. But I know I must. I know it’s long overdue. The sedentary lifestyle I have these days is taking it’s toll. Time to plan an intervention.
