I saw the Brooklyn band “TV On The Radio” on SNL a few years ago. Hated it. They became one of my reference points for bad music. Tonight, going to bed, I was flipping through music ratings on the Spotify companion app Metafy. TVOTR showed up on the list. I’m checking out their latest release Nine Types of Light and am seriously moved by this music. This makes me feel good. It’s experimental and interesting… Two things that are rare these days. I’ve listened to the track Second Song on loop for the past 30 min. One of those tracks that makes me remember how much I love music…. And especially why.
