Tonight, our friends, the Fravels, treated us to dinner at Heather’s cousin Terri’s restaurant. It’s a small town affair and when I say small town..I mean…like…small, small. :-)

Beautiful view from the road that runs through Union, IN
Heather’s Aunt Adele and her uncle Frank came to and it was a good, long overdue visit. Kaitlyn’s middle name is Adele, named after Heather’s aunt of course. Heather’s middle name is also Adele. That’s a special name to us.

Adele, Madelyn and Heather
I’ve spent most of the day coding a web app that has no template or idea to launch from. Been breaking things to see if they work and whatnot..it’s consumed me. But it was so nice to drive to Union, IN for a break from the grind..and just literally slow down and enjoy the moment. I am terrible at rushing through life and leaving a trail of missed moments cause I was either too busy to notice or missing the forest for the trees.. It’s something I want to improve on.

Belles chillin' in the park at the GBC Church picnic...
I’m really tired again..it’s after midnight so I may be typing gibberish..but I just wanted to publicly thank God for an awesome day and for an awesome Sunday of worship and fellowship with my church family. I’m not wealthy, but I’m rich. God has put some great folks in our lives around here.
I’m going to bed..
G’night…
