This morning, my son Christian comes in and sticks a usb into my laptop and says “Dad, listen to this and tell me what you think?”….I opened up my iTunes and listened to it, immediately recognized it as Metro Station’s song “Kelsey”…but then I realized it wasn’t the original..but an instrumental version Christian had made in his bedroom. It made me happy cause if you know the original track, he did a really good job. Especially when he’s merely 15!
I’m excited to see what he brings me in 3 months, a year, 2 years,etc… I pray he gets a shot to live a dream as I did for a season.

I think this young lad has got something he can develop and shine his light to the world. I like the atmospheres he creates, they are sort of Alphavilleish at times. He's got a good sense of developing the song and doesn't rush adding too much at the beginning; conversely, he's patient and adds what he's got to add little by little. No matter if this technique was borrowed from the original, he did that well. If he keeps on working, inspiration will find him busy and will pop in to lend his talent an extra hand. Please, have him read my comment.
