In just a couple weeks, I’ll be on a plane with my Guardian crew headed to Europe to play a one-off in Germany. 20 years ago, we were wrapping up the recording of “Fire and Love” and I was getting my first taste of Southern California living. Those were great days. It still trips me out that this far down the road, there is still a demand for Guardian. It’s unbelievable. Life is much different these days, I had to get extra pages added to my passport cause I filled it up in the 90′s, and my new one has only about 3 pages filled. Pretty much every week I was in a different state or country, these days, I rarely leave Indiana. Life is different. I have great memories, but these days are different. I really miss travel but I’m thankful to have been home with my kids. In ’94 we did a tour of Australia and New Zealand, flew home for a day and went back out for a full month. No cell phones, no skype, just a calling card haha! Heather would come to regional dates even though she was pregnant with Christian at that time, she even flew out with Guardian to Burbank for a weekend festival while pregnant and ended up sick in the hotel all weekend. Those were good days. They shaped who I am and helped me realize “the world is not flat”. What’s normal here is whack somewhere else and vice-versa.

Continuing this blog with no apparent theme…

I create a lot of websites and social network skins…but my own sites look like crap. I hate it..but it’s time I don’t have right now. I’m thinking about making this site into a members site, free membership, but more of a community..even as an extension of facebook. When time is avail, it’s on my list.

In a few hours, Israel Houghton’s new album comes out. The team has worked hard to make sure people are aware of it’s release. It’s always a bit crazy before release butby morning, I always feel pretty good. My iTunes goal is #1 by 1:00pm. There will be a first for Christian music: the project is also being released as an iTunes LP with killer special features! Chris took it to iTunes and showed them and they seemed pretty flippin’ impressed. Hopefully it all connects.

Nothing more..thanks for listening….
